What you need
- A TikTok account
- The site owner has added a TikTok app (Admin > Site settings > TikTok) with Login Kit and Content Posting API
- Your site domain must be verified in the TikTok developer portal (TikTok downloads the photo from your site)
- Until TikTok audits the app, every post is forced to private (SELF_ONLY) and only test users can connect
Photo posts only (caption up to 90 characters for the title, 4,000 for the description). Unaudited apps can only post privately. Requires a public HTTPS domain.
How to connect
- Click "Connect with TikTok" and approve video.publish / video.upload access.
- Photo posts are sent with your caption and the generated image.
- Choose how often to post. After TikTok approves the app, posts can be public.
Questions about TikTok
